Board Meeting Minutes - Thursday, March 15, 2012

Present:

  • Tim Love (Reid Hospital)
  • Randy Baker (Richmond Power & Light)

  • David Burton (Burton & Simkin)
  • Beth Fields (Wayne County Government)
  • Richard Peterson (Porter Advertising, LLC)
  • Jodi Johnson (Western Wayne Schools)
  • Jane Holman (Executive Director)

Meeting Called to Order:

President Rob Tidrow called the meeting to order at 12:05 p.m. in the Richmond Power and Light Board Room.

Old Business:

The January 12, 2012 minutes were reviewed. David Burton made a motion to approve and Dudley Fetzer seconded the motion. It passed unanimously.

New Business:

The balance sheet was reviewed. Jane Holman expressed her satisfaction in purchasing and using the new computer. The new addition of a faster and more powerful computer has added to her efficiency and improved her work flow. Jody Johnson made a motion to approve and it was seconded by David Burton. All were in favor.

Executive Director’s Report (click to see the report):

Jane gave a brief overview of her report.

Jane Holman opened the discussion regarding building memberships. Rob Tidrow asked her to make a list of some business to contact. We will discuss further at our May meeting.

Jenie Lahmann made a suggestion to highlight Waynet members who have been members for 15 years. Jane will work on this idea.

Adjournment:

Being no further business Rob Tidrow asked for a motion to adjourn. Tim Love moved and Randy Baker seconded the motion. All approved and the meeting was adjourned at 12:45 p.m
