Murray Theatre - Home to Richmond Civic Theatre |
Murray Theatre was built in 1909 as a vaudeville house. Its stage saw many famous acts, including Jack Benny, George Burns, famous big bands, etc. It has been the home to the performances of Richmond Civic Theatre (founded in 1941) since 1952 and was purchased by Richmond Civic Theatre, Inc. as its permanent home in 1964. |
