Repairing the Pennsylvania Railroad Depot |
Repairs are in full swing as tuck pointing is done on the unusual brick columns outside the Pennsylvania Railroad Station in the "Hoosier Bowery" district in Richmond, Indiana. The Pennsylvania Railroad Station was designed in the office of Daniel Burnham, a famous architect from Chicago. Mr. Burnham's firm is famous for designing The Rookery building in Chicago and The Flatiron Building in New York. The Neo-Classical style Depot was built in 1902. |
