The Earlham College Permanent Art Collection
Comprised of over 3000 paintings, prints and sculptures, the Earlham
College Permanent Art Collection truly lives up the College's motto of
"Engaging the World." Earlham is home to an impressive collection of works
by well-known local artists such as George Baker, John Elwood Bundy, Marcus
Mote and Edna Cathell. The Collection also boasts an extensive array of art
and objects of material culture from Africa, Asia and the South Pacific
regions, and an important selection of European and American etchings,
lithographs and woodblock prints. Objects from the Earlham College Permanent
Art Collection are used to engage and educate not only the Earlham students
and community but regional audiences as well through collaborative
exhibitions.
