How to Make Your Own Homemade Window Cleaning Supplies

Since you never know what cleaning supplies you might have on hand around the house, here are 14 handy formulas to create your own homemade window cleaner:

One:
¼ cup - white vinegar
¼ cup - ammonia
½ bucket - warm water
Eight:
5 drops - dishwashing soap
1 bucket - water
Two:
½ cup - cornstarch
1 gallon - warm water
Nine:
¼ cup - white vinegar
1 quart - water
Three:
1 - chopped up onion
½ bucket - warm water
Ten:
2 tablespoons - dishwashing soap
1 pint - Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing)
2 tablespoons - ammonia
Four:
1 squirt - dishwashing soap
½ cup - ammonia
2 gallons - warm water
Eleven:
2 tablespoons - ammonia
1 quart - warm water
Five:
1 squirt - dishwashing soap
½ cup - vinegar
2 gallons - warm water
Twelve:
2 tablespoons - Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing)
1 cup - vinegar
Six:
1 quart - water
1 ounce - clear ammonia
Thirteen:
½ cup - white vinegar
½ cup - warm water
Seven:
1 tablespoon - powdered dishwashing soap
½ cup - white vinegar
1/3 cup - rubbing alcohol
1 bucket - water
Fourteen:
1 pint - Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing)
1/2 cup - ammonia

As you can see even the experts don't exactly agree on the best homemade window cleaning recipes. Take your pick. They all work to varying degrees.
