| To interpret the history of Levi and Catharine Coffin and their involvement with the Underground Railroad. | |

| Giving tours of the Levi Coffin House. The tour includes the eight rooms of the house and the barn. The interpretation covers the Coffin's involvement in the Underground Railroad, their Quaker beliefs and the house which has been restored to the time period. | |

Volunteers have the option of doing a four hour shift to assist with walk-in tours, which take place at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Shifts can be morning or afternoon. | Direct Care Volunteers provide non-medical support services to the hospice patient and/or family. These might include companionship, helping a patient document stories from their life, veteran to veteran visits, pet therapy, music, playing games, or sitting with patient while their caregiver is away at appointments or errands. | |

| Wayne County Cardinal Greenway | |
| The Cardinal Greenway is the longest trail in the state of Indiana at 62 miles and we have 22.5 miles here in Wayne County. The Greenway offers a free health and wellness resource for our community to walk, run, bicycle and spend time outside. | |
| Maintenance Volunteer | |
| Maintenance volunteers will help keep the Greenway clean, clear and safe for our users. This could involve tasks such as picking up trash and debris, clearing trees and brush and assisting our maintenance staff. | |
| Skills Needed: | Minimal skills are required for most work but could include light trimming of trees/brush, weed eating or trash pickup. Equipment such as blowers, weed eaters or trimmers can be volunteers personal or can be provided by the Greenway. Work can be done by volunteer alone or assisting Greenway staff and/or other volunteers. |
| Time Requested: | Time requirement is flexible and work can be performed at the convenience and availability of volunteers. The Greenway is open and available for use from dawn to dusk every day of the year so work can be done anytime during these time periods. Minimal training is needed and work can be done with no supervision. |
| Trail Ranger | |
| Patrol the trails at a pace suitable to their own schedules. Rangers provide simple routine trail maintenance and alert Greenway staff/volunteers of issues needing attention while patrolling. Orientation is required. | |

Habitat provides all materials and tools necessary. All volunteers are under the supervision of our Habitat construction site superintendents in order to guarantee a safe experience and to build or rehab a quality home. No prior construction skills required! Our site superintendents will provide hands-on leadership, teaching, motivation and encouragement to all groups, individuals, sponsors and future homeowners! | Circle U Help Center has been serving the local community since 1979. At the present time we are serving over 1,600 hot meals on a monthly basis. Included in this total are 40 meals that are delivered each Saturday to those people that are homebound. We currently serve on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays and our food Pantry operates on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. | |
