Basketball
Indiana is known all over the world for "Hoosier Hysteria", an over-the-top love of basketball. While fans might not be quite as rabid now that the tournaments feature multi-class sectionals, based on the size of a school's student body, Hoosiers still love basketball.
In testament to that love for basketball, Richmond's Tiernan Center is now the 4th largest high school gym in the United States, according to Wikipedia. It will hold 8,100 basketball fans.
