These figures were created by the AWStats program offered online by our web host.  We also track usage with Google Analytics. For comparison, visitrichmond.org shared that their site received 3,678 visits in January 2011.

Monthly figures are posted on the Top Twenty page.  Current average is 51,391  user sessions per month.  Web page views are averaging 228,646.  Users sessions experienced a 9% uptick in September and a small 1% decrease in October. Page views remained steady with a 1% increase in October.

2nd Quarter 2011 - Quarterly figures for user sessions decreased 7% from 2nd Quarter.  Page views decreased by 3% in the third quarter.

2010 Yearly Figures show a 5% decrease to 689,268 users requesting 3,146,660 pages as compared to 723,398 users requesting 2,781,969 pages in 2009.  This is a 5% decrease in users and a 13% increase in page views over 2009.

Did You Know?

Richmond was long known as "The Rose City" due to being home to Hills' Roses. Founder, E. G. Hill, was a gifted rose hybridizer, and introduced countless roses to the world. Hills' was once known as the largest grower of roses under glass. Hill Floral Products stopped growing roses in 1995.
