These figures were created by the AWStats program offered online by our web host.  We also track usage with Google Analytics.

Monthly figures are posted on the Top Twenty page.  Current average is 48,980 user sessions per month. Web page views are averaging 217,152. While our numbers appear to have dipped, the majority of the decline is due to a change in Google's algorithms which no longer calls up our turtle page. While the overall numbers have declined, our core local pages have remained strong and we have seen an uptake in new hits to additional pages, thanks to our redesign.

1st Quarter 2013 - Quarterly figures for user sessions increased by 8% from 4th Quarter. Page views increased by 2% in the 1st quarter, with a 8% decrease over the same time period in 2012.

2012 Yearly Figures show a decrease to 557,619 users but an increase to 2,817,973 page views as compared to 604,177 users requesting 2,703,864 pages in 2011.  This is a 8% decrease in users and a 4% increase in page views over 2011, again reflecting the change in usae of our turtle page.

Did You Know?

The highest point in Indiana is located in Wayne County, northwest of Bethel. At 1,257 feet, it is known as “Hoosier Hill”, but that title is a bit ironic.
