These figures were created by the AWStats program offered online by our web host.  We also track usage with Google Analytics.

Monthly figures are posted on the Top Twenty page.  Current average is 49,836 user sessions per month. Web page views are averaging 217,719. Our numbers appear to be rising slightly, in part due to the increased calls to the Cut/Copy/Paste page. Our core local pages have remained strong and we have seen an uptake in new hits to additional pages, thanks to our redesign. Overall, our sponsors have gained much greater value, due to the exposure of their logos on each page sidebar in the new layout.

2nd Quarter 2013 - Quarterly figures for user sessions increased by 4% from 1st Quarter and were up 5% over the same time period last year, the first time we've seen an increase in this figure since 2010. Page views increased by 2% in the 2nd quarter, with a 14% decrease over the same time period in 2012. This is a more volatile figure and often sees peaks and dips.

2012 Yearly Figures show a decrease to 557,619 users but an increase to 2,817,973 page views as compared to 604,177 users requesting 2,703,864 pages in 2011.  This is a 8% decrease in users and a 4% increase in page views over 2011, again reflecting the change in usae of our turtle page.

Richmond was long known as "The Rose City" due to being home to Hills' Roses. Founder, E. G. Hill, was a gifted rose hybridizer, and introduced countless roses to the world. Hills' was once known as the largest grower of roses under glass. Hill Floral Products stopped growing roses in 1995.
