Annual Board Meeting Minutes - December 17, 2020

Present:

Call to Order:

President Jenie Lahmann called the meeting to order at 12:15 p.m.

Old Business

Reviewed Minutes from the last meeting:

Call for motion to approve by: Dakota Collins, Seconded by: Bridget Hazelbaker and approved by Board.

New Business:

Jenie introduced and welcomed Bridget Hazelbaker as new Board Member.

Bridget shared a professional and personal information about herself.

Board approved reimbursing Jane $100 for toner she used on her personal computer for Waynet stationary.

Jenie shared that Jane can use the library color printer for future printing of stationary.

Call for Vote:

Call for motion to approve by: Dakota Collins, seconded by: Lynn Knight and approved by Board.

Balance Sheet Review:

Balance going forward: $9,163.70. Call for motion to approve by: Richard Peterson, seconded by: Tim Love and approved by Board.

Cash Flow Projection:

Will take off all outstanding balances, but Ivytech for outstanding their outstanding balance. Jane will reach out to Ivytech again.

Seldom Scene, extend to February.

Anticipate loss of $1,580 projected income for 2020.

December Director's Report

Jane shared that she forgave $60 outstanding balance from United Way for 2020. United Way paid full balance for 2021.

Jane reported that she helped with the Wayne County Television Connection interview last month, taping interview with Rebecca Gilliam, Executive Director at Wayne County Foundation WCTV is still looking for new producer. Jane asked the Board if we still want to partner with the Wayne County Connection. Board will continue to wait and see and make a decision after a new producer is hired.

Invoices for the year end have been processed but will be mailed later along with a cover letter.

Still working on Reid calendar.

Reid used their 10 photos based on their membership level.

A Google ad was added to the 'cut, copy, paste page'.

Reminder: Jane's hours change in January 2021. Will be working 12 hours per week. Jane also shared she will be taking vacation hours the next two Mondays, Wednesday and Thursday of next week.
